One of the most important events within iDEAlab project was organized from 24th to 30th of October, 2016, in Novi Sad, Serbia. University of Novi Sad as the project coordinator organized this start-up competition for entrepreneurial students from the region.
iDEAlab, in cooperation with the Center for the promotion of sciences from Belgrade, organized one day RRI Tools training. The training was held on December 23rd 2016 in Central University Building.
On 3rd of November, 2016. official launching of the Master program “Engineering Innovation” have been organized, within the TEMPUS project MAIN, at Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad.
iDEAlab and the University of Novi Sad presented their idea on novel noninvasive automatic diagnostic solution for spine disorders such as scoliosis. The novelty of it is that it’s implemented using commodity devices, thus limiting its overall cost, but still achieving sufficient precision to be used for detecting asymmetry due to scoliosis. With this idea we won second place between 17 ideas presented.
In the frame of the iDEAlab project the 1st Regional Conference on Entrepreneurship and Open Innovation in University-Industry Collaboration –iDEAlab 2016, was organized at the University of Novi Sad from 21st to 23rd of September 2016. iDEAlab conference was organized in collaboration with the biannual MCP-CE 2016 conference (International Conference on Mass Customization and Personalization in Central Europe).
Workshop on Sustainability “Bringing the iDEAlab to Successful Future “ at University of Novi Sad Workshop on Sustainability of iDEAlab took place at the University of Novi Sad from September 19th to 20th , 2016. Representatives from partner institutions were hosted by the University of Novi Sad. Along with the first day workshop about the sustainability, project management meeting brought together members of project management team to review work progress, assess financial flow and agree on further actions.
MSc Sanja Kojić presentation gave a brief overview of ERASMUS+ IF4TM project, main vision of Partner participation and Implementation in that project as well as possible ways of collaboration with iDEAlab project, bearing in mind that development of creativity is connection point between these two projects.
XXI Miločer Development Forum (Miločerski razvojni forum) was held from September 12th to September 14th 2016 in Montenegrin city Cetinje. Forum is organized in collaboration between UDG Centre for climate change, natural resources and energy, Baltic management development association and Network of economist and managers from Montenegro.
University of Novi Sad, as a Grant Holder of the Tempus project project “Fostering students’ entrepreneurship and open innovation in university-industry collaboration (iDEALab)” 544373-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-RS-TeMPUS-JPHES (eligibility period December 1, 2013 – November 30, 2016) and on behalf of all consortium members has sent a request for the extension of project eligibility period for additional 6 months, until May 30, 2017, in order to successfully and in high quality accomplish all project activities planned in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.
From 27-30 June WUS Austria (Michaela Handke, Marc Schärzli), together with the project coordinator (Vladimir Todorovic, Danijela Ciric) travelled to Bosnia and Herzegovina and to Montenegro to visit the iDEAlabs of the following institutions: University Banja Luka, University of Zenica and University of Montenegro within the frame of the WP for quality monitoring.
