European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management (ESTIEM) in collaboration with iDEAlab organized special workshop as a part of a six-day event entitled "Brain trainer - Critical thinking"
As a part of a six-day event entitled "Brain trainer - Critical thinking", organized by ESTIEM the organisation for European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management, a special workshop was organized in Novi Sad’s iDEAlab. The workshop was realized on May 21st, 2016., and it was attended by 14 students - local and guest students from Germany, Greece, Denmark and Turkey.
The main goal of the workshop was to teach students how to think critically in any important business situations. To achieve this, students had to learn how to isolate facts from emotions, how to draw conclusions from complex situations, and how to communicate their message clearly when there is a conflict with another person. During the workshop, students were practicing their communication skills related to these topics. This knowledge was later put to the test in the next few days of this event, especially during the debate tournament. The workshop was coducted by assistant professor Petar Vrgovic.
