After the Startup Weekend Event (13 to 15 May, 2016), organized by Business Incubator and iDEAlab project, selection of the best teams and presented  ideas that have the potential to further development were carried out.

Selected teams qualified themselves for pre-incubation program organized within the iDEAlab.

Future iDEAlab tenants attended their first training “Designing and delivering oral presentations: Tips & Tricks for idea pitching” organized within iDEAlab pre-incubation program on May  30, 2016 in iDEAlab.  Participants had an opportunity to learn more about on how to plan, develop and deliver a good presentation, which are the main tasks during the analysis of the situation which precedes the speech and organization of the presentation, how the speaker can adapt his/her presentation to the audience and create an effective introduction, elaboration and conclusion of the speech, etc.

The Scope of this training was to help students to learn how to plan an effective presentation, overcome fear of public speaking that accompanies each oral presentation, answers to questions from the audience and use technology as a support channel. With advices for successful oral presentation, participants will complete their presentation skills by mastering the persuasive visual content and design slides that will interest and engage the audience in a discussion about their idea.

These skills are essential in business, because without communication skills and public speaking skills, there is a risk of misunderstanding and rejection of some perspective business ideas.
