On 15 April 2016, representatives of EIC UNZE visited the Business Fair in Mostar, where more than 800 companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Western Balkan Countries, the EU and the world participated.

During the Fair, the greatest attention was focused on companies working in the field of energy, ecology, wood processing and metal processing, to which iDEAlab Project (Fostering students’ entrepreneurship and open innovation in university-industry collaboration) was presented. In the course of presentation of iDEAlab concept, Prof. Dr Petković, Director of EIC, emphasized to the present business people that this new premises and equipment at UNZE should function as centers of students’ entrepreneurship development, i.e. as pleasant (so-called colaborative) spaces should enable development of students’ business ideas, and as well, it should encourge them to develop and test the prototypes.

A special presentation of this project was given to partners, who also participated in the Fair in Mostar: the University of Mostar, which presented the student prototype of motor vehicle, Center of Technical Culture in Mostar, TP Intera Mostar, Development Agency of Herzegovina – REDAH, Development Agencies of Teslić Municipality, Tešanj Municipality and Žepče Municipality, and other business systems.

Let us point out that the award for the most innovative decoration of booth space at the Fair was given to TRA (Development Agency of Tešanj), which is led by an external associate of EIC UNZE Assist. Prof. Dr Ismar Alagić.
