Faculty of Sciences, as a part of University of Novi Sad, is an educational and scientific institution providing teaching and scientific research in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, informatics, geography, tourism and environmental protection at five departments. Students from this Faculty organized one-day event about professional training and networking with companies, where students had an opportunity to get familiar with various ways to improve their career path, and also to meet companies from this region, especially from the IT sector.

 

iDEAlab was present at this fair, introducing it’s facilities and promoting the resources that it has got available for students’ creative entrepreneurial ideas and teamwork. Students were able to approach the iDEAlab team and ask specific questions about their potential role in this project. Their questions were mostly about their options when engaging in the lab’s activities. 

 

During the fair, a presentation was also held that elaborated in detail what are the aims of this project, and what are the possibilities that existed. Students were informed about the usual ways in which an entrepreneurial idea can be developed in the context of young people who are still in the education process. Students were especially encouraged to consider proposing their own entrepreneurial ideas and to approach the lab in order to be a part of a team. Also, students were informed about educational events that are to be held in the lab in the near future.
