On May 7th and 8th 2016. a science and education festival was held at the University of Novi Sad central campus. In this event around 60 workshops from various scientific fields were held by the University faculties and research institutes. Here, university students as well as primary and high school students were able to observe various research activities that are present at the UNS. This was an opportunity for youth to get acquainted with different scientific activities and to observe tangible results that lead to scientific conclusions. 

 

iDEAlab was present at this festival, promoting it’s aims and mission. Students were informed about the nature of this project and chances that they have in developing their creative entrepreneurial ideas. They were able to learn about how they can influence work of the iDEAlab and how to be part of an entrepreneurial project, while engaging in multi disciplinary teams. Also, students were informed about Startup Weekend event, where iDEAlab is a partner in organization. It was explained that the Startup Weekend was not only event that will allow students to work on their startup skills and teamwork, but also an opportunity to enroll in the lab’s facilities as a participant.
