On June 8th and 9th 2016, two six hour long courses were held in iDEAlab as a part of WP1, activity 1.4 within the project “Mastering innovation in Serbia through development and implementation of interdisciplinary post-graduate curricula in innovation management (MAIN)” on the topic of managing creativity inside companies. Courses were attended by employees of various companies with various job roles, such as graphic designer, web developers, human resource specialist, PR consultant, marketing strategy analyst, as well as by students of secondary and tertiary level of studies. There were 18 participants in total.
The course informed attendees about different strategies that could be employed within companies to spark employee creativity on all levels. Also, the course activated attendees to actively and practically exercise different strategies for measuring and influencing employee creativity. Second part of the course taught the participants about techniques of creative problem solving. Different individual, group and hybrid strategies were explained and the participants practiced some of them individually and in groups. After practicing idea generation, idea evaluation was also practiced. Third part of the course taught the attendees about designing, organizing and conducting creative campaigns inside companies. Here, various strategies and approaches were discussed and compared.
