Startup Weekend is a global event that started in 2007 in USA and until then it has spread all around the globe. The goal of these events is to only in 54 hours teams work on their ideas and make functional and real business model of them.

For the third time Startup Weekend was held in Novi Sad. With 76 participants, there were 10 teams which were competing for the Winner title. Besides the participants, the event was visited by over 200 guests during three days the event lasted.

Mentors who were working with the teams were Miloš Dakić, Siniša Komlenić, Aleksandar Sabo, Aleks Sabo, Nikola Obradović, Anita Matt, and others. Jury members were Branislava Gajić Stanojević and Mirko Topalski.

Teams who won the prizes were:

3^rd place: team Task Whisperer (Marijana Škrivanko, Ana Svetličić, Jelena Vučković, Marko Marković and Dejan Gavrilović)

2^nd place: team CollabQ (Milan Milošević, Nemanja Radić, Nemanja Banjanin and Bojan Gvozderac)

1^st place: team Mobile Wars (Milena Jerkov-Bibić, Marijana Vlaović and Miloš Radanović)

This time the winner of Novi Sad Startup Weekend had the opportunity to compete ar the biggest global startup competition – Global Startup Battle, which was held during World week of entrepreneurship. Team Mobile Wars was competing with 200 other teams from all around the world. Although team fromNovi Sadhad not achieved significant success, this was a great opportunity to see what ideas people around the world have and find out how our entrepreneurs are listed among them.
